General Use Claim For the treatment and control of roundworms, tapeworms, bots and abamectin resistant Parascaris equorum in horses. Active Constituents Each mL contains Abamectin 4mg, Praziquantel 50mg and Oxfendazole 200mg. Also contains Sodium metabisulphite 1mg as an antioxidant. DIRECTIONS FOR USE SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. For oral use only. Dose: 1 mL of Equitak Excel Multidose per 20kg bodyweight, equivalent to: Abamectin 0.2mg, Praziquantel 2.5mg and Oxfendazole 10mg per kg bodyweight. Bodyweight Dose 100kg 5mL 200kg 10mL 300kg 15mL 400kg 20mL 500kg 25m 600kg 30mL ADMINISTRATION Insert the nozzle of the syringe supplied through the special sealing cap of the bottle and draw out the required volume of suspension. Reseal bottle cap. Insert syringe nozzle into the side of the horse's mouth, in the gap between the front and back teeth and press the plunger completely to give the measured dose. Deposit the suspension back over the top of the tongue and immediately raise the horse's head and hold for a few seconds to ensure the full dose is swallowed. FURTHER TREATMENT: Refer to Package Insert. WARNINGS Dangerous to the Environment Very toxic to aquatic organisms. Avoid contamination of any water supply with product or empty container. Harmful to the soil environment. Harmful to terrestrial vertebrates. Very toxic to terrestrial invertebrates. Avoid release to the environment. PRECAUTIONS (Human) Handle with care. May be harmful if swallowed. Wash hands and exposed skin before meals and after use. May cause eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes. Repeated exposure may cause allergic reactions. Avoid skin contact. Oxfendazole and abamectin may possibly affect development and/or reproduction. Abamectin may have effects on or via lactation. Oxfendazole (liver) and abamectin (nervous system) possibly may cause organ damage from repeated exposure at high doses. For further information see Material Safety Data Sheet. SYMPTOMS OF POISONING, FIRST AID If swallowed DO NOT induce vomiting. For advice contact the National Poisons Centre 0800 POISON (0800 764 766) or a doctor immediately. If skin or hair contact occurs remove contaminated clothing and flush skin and hair with running water. If splashed in eyes wash out immediately with water. DISPOSAL Preferably dispose of the product by use. Otherwise dispose of product and packaging at an approved landfill or other approved facility. Crush or puncture empty container and bury in a suitable landfill. Do not use container for any other purpose. WITHHOLDING PERIOD(S) STORAGE Meat: Animals producing meat or offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter either during treatment or within 63 days of the last treatment. Store below 30°C (room temperature), tightly closed, in the original syringe and in the unit box away from light and foodstuffs.
