Returns Policies
Please note that if goods are faulty then we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 to provide a remedy.
Goods that need replacing, repair or exchange must be returned within seven working days. If you are unable to meet this obligation, you will need to notify Summit Grains and Saddlery by email or by phone within seven working days.
Please note that we send goods suspected of being faulty to our supplier for proper inspection, the delivery cost involved with this process will be borne by the customer until there is a proven fault. If a product is proven to be faulty by our supplier then we will refund the delivery cost to the customer, if it is not deemed faulty then no refund will be given. Any damage to the product or use of the product for a purpose other than that which it was designed for could void any claim for faulty goods.
The cost of freighting goods that are returned for exchange will be borne by the customer.
Summit Grains & Saddlery retains the right to allow or deny an exchange of goods.
Goods cannot be returned to, refunded, exchanged or repaired by Summit Grains & Saddlery unless you have proof of purchase. An invoice will be sent to you with your goods and you should retain it for this purpose. Products returned to Summit Grains & Saddlery for exchange must be unused, unmarked and must still have the original tags, if the product has been used, marked or there is a lack of tags then we may not allow an exchange your goods. Summit Grains & Saddlery retains the right to allow or deny an exchange of goods.
If a product is not available to be exchanged we will issue an in store credit voucher, valid for 3 months for the same amount. Sale and reduced to clear items cannot be exchanged, replaced, repaired or refunded.
We are willing to exchange rugs and covers if they are not the right size or fit. However they must be clean and unused, please place a clean sheet underneath the cover when trying it on your horse. If the cover is used or dirty (this includes horse hair) we will not be able to exchange it. Please note that the cost of freighting covers being exchanged will be borne by the customer.
For no reason will Summit Grains & Saddlery replace, repair, refund or exchange any saddle that has left our shop unless it is deemed faulty by the manufacturer.
Our courier requires a signature before delivery can be made, please ensure that the package does not look broken, crushed or torn and if possible check that the goods are undamaged before signing. If goods are damaged in transit please record the courier’s full name and signature and refuse to accept the goods unless the courier has admitted damage to the goods, ring Summit Grains & Saddlery immediately so that we can contact the courier company and lodge a claim. However If you sign for the package and later find that the goods are damaged Summit Grains & Saddlery can lodge a claim with the courier but we make no guarantee that the product will be repaired, replaced or that you will receive a refund.
To prevent the spread of diseases and to protect our customer’s horses, no bits can be returned to Summit Grains & Saddlery after having been used with the exception of Myler and Sprenger bits. However Myler and Sprenger bits can only be returned during the trial time which is 2 days upon receipt of the product, note there is an additional charge of a trial and cleaning fee. If there is damage to the bit then Summit Grains & Saddlery retains the right to charge for the damage or not provide a refund.
Packaging and Delivery Policies
Online sales are subject to availability, Summit Grains & Saddlery will endeavor to notify you should there be a delay in the delivery of your goods. If you require goods urgently contact Summit Grains & Saddlery, however we do not guarantee that we will be able to deliver on an urgent basis.
We endevour to dispatch Purchase paid for by Credit Card on the same day, unless ordered after business hours or after the final pick up time of our courier, in which case the order will be dispatched on the next business day.
We endevour to dispatch purchases paid for by Bank Deposit when the payment has been received in our bank account, this is usually within two business days. Please ensure that an appropriate reference is included when you make payment and note that orders will not be dispatched unless the full amount is paid.
All of our online orders are dispatched by courier unless otherwise arranged with us
Freight charges relating to any exchange of product will be borne by the customer.
Failure to select the correct freight charge will delay your delivery until the full amount is paid, if you are unsure which freight charge to select, please contact Summit Grains & Saddlery.

If your goods have not arrived within a reasonable time frame or you suspect that your goods may have been lost in transit, please contact us so that we can make an enquiry or rectify the situation.
Summit Grains and Saddlery does not ship or sell products overseas via this website. If you wish to make an enquiry about an export order, please contact us by email or by phone.

Disputes
