The beautiful Collegiate 5 Point Breastplate is made from quality, supple English leather with tough, durable layer elastic inserts and strapping for extra give over jumps. The 5 points of attachment on this collegiate breastplate helps keeps your saddle secure and reduces slipping. Martingale rings give the rider more leverage through the reins to the bit on the bars of the horse's mouth when the horse raises its head above the desired point, the leverage created by this pressure encourages the horse to lower its head. Attaching twice to the girth as well as the D-rings means that the pressure is distributed more evenly. A must-have for every serious horse-jumper!!
